Saskia de Brauw has been involved in the field of international development for more than 20 years. She has worked on projects in more than 10 countries, including Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya and the Philippines. She is currently the CEO of the African Centre for Capacity Building on Peacebuilding. Saskia holds a master's degree in International Development from Leiden University and an MA degree in Law from Radboud University Nijmegen
